Apple’s new iOS 14 and iPadOS 14 update for your iPhone ($699 at Amazon) and iPad ($275 at Back Market) add a bunch of new features we’re excited about, like widgets on the home screen, an app drawer of sorts and privacy improvements. You can install iOS 14 and iPad 14 right now, after prepping your phone or tablet, of course. (And once you’re set up, make your home screen “aesthetic” like everyone else is doing.)

These welcome enhancements will surely enrich your experience — and we hope to get a preview of how this affects the iPhone 12 at the phone’s launch next week –, but my favorite tricks in iOS 14 and iPadOS 14 are the ones you have to work to find.
