iPhone SE review: Classic iPhone design, but with 2020 processing power

There are a lot of ways to think about Apple’s new $399 iPhone SE. One is that it’s a more affordable option than the iPhone 11 ($699 at Apple), with surprisingly similar camera specs, which it is. Or that it’s the 2020 sequel to the original SE from 2016, which it also is. Or, at 4.7 inches, that it’s the smallest and cheapest iPhone you can currently buy (though it’s not that small). Or — and this is my favorite way to think about it — that it’s an iPhone 8 with the brains and power of an iPhone 11. In fact, the new iPhone SE is all these things and that’s why I’m enamored with it.

How soon could the next stimulus check get to you? Here are some possible IRS payment dates

A second stimulus check could be coming. We break down possible payment schedules.

Wondering when you might receive a second stimulus check and how much of the proposed $1,200 you could get if you qualify? The schedule for sending another round of direct payments is in question until the terms of the next economic relief package are agreed upon by Washington lawmakers. Only after a bill becomes law can the IRS coordinate sending another check. And that means playing the waiting game. The question is: for how long?

And that is the trillion dollar question. First, the HEALS Act — or whatever the final legislation winds up being called — has to pass. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell set an initial deadline of Aug. 7 to reach an agreement before the Senate’s month-long break this month, though he can delay the recess if lawmakers need more time to debate. As of Friday, an agreement on the package, which includes another round of stimulus checks, was still far off when Congress adjourned for the weekend.

 “We anticipate that we will have a bill, but we’re not there yet,” House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said on Friday.
